The Blyth Festival Podcast
I wanted to give a brief shout out to the Blyth Festival Podcast, an excellent way to keep abreast of what’s coming up at Blyth.
Hosted by Joanne Wallace, Blyth’s Director of Development, these short (35 to 45 minute) episodes typically take the form of interviews with the playwrights of upcoming shows. It’s a great way to gain a deeper appreciation of the play you have ether seen or are about to see.
Wallace has an easy-going manner that seems to put her guests at ease, encouraging them to open up and speak freely. I have found them to be very entertaining as well as informative.
You can find a complete list of episodes on the Blyth website, but I have had little success listening to episodes on their site.
A better idea is to search the podcast platform of your choice for “Blyth Festival Podcast.”
